NTK / Need to Know

Your data
is yours.
We can't
see it.

Need to Know builds zero-knowledge privacy infrastructure — for cloud, desktop, and mobile. We are a dumb byte conduit. Your keys never reach us.

The Stack

Three products.
One principle.

You hold the keys. Every product in the NTK stack is built on the same zero-knowledge foundation.

Philosophy

"We are a dumb byte conduit."

Most cloud providers hold your encryption keys — which means they can decrypt your files at any time, for any reason. Breaches. Government requests. Internal snooping. They aren't just storing your files; they're scanning them.

Need to Know is designed differently. Your files are encrypted on your device before they reach us. We store random bytes. We transmit random bytes. Without your key, the data is permanently and mathematically unreadable — to everyone, including us.

Zero-Knowledge Encryption

Everything encrypted on your device before upload. We have absolutely no knowledge of the data you store.

Dumb Byte Conduit

We only handle encrypted, meaningless bytes. Our role is to securely store and transmit them — nothing more.

User-Controlled Keys

You, and only you, hold the keys to your data. Without your keys, your files are incomprehensible noise. Permanently.

Process

How it works

Local Encryption

Your file. Your device. Your key.

Before your file leaves your device, it is encrypted using a key that only you possess. It never exists anywhere in plaintext except on hardware you control.

Secure Transit

We see bytes. Just bytes.

The encrypted file — now a meaningless jumble — travels through our infrastructure. We process it. We cannot read it. There is nothing to read.

Blind Storage

Stored. Unreadable. Permanently.

We store the encrypted bytes. Without your key they are noise — today, tomorrow, and regardless of any breach, request, or compulsion. The math is the guarantee.

About NTK

Need to Know

Privacy isn't a feature we added. It's the architecture we built from. Every product in the NTK stack is founded on a single, non-negotiable principle: we can't see your data, access your keys, or know anything about what you store.

We built our platform on zero-trust foundations because trust — even ours — shouldn't be required.

No compromises. No exceptions.
